2025 Montrose County GOP Mission Statement


  • Defend and follow the the United States Constitution as originally written
  • Support and expand efforts to defend and regain our civil and property rights
  • Increase Republican membership through information and other outreach initiatives that go beyond 2-party battle lines and appeal to the common sense values we share with young people, independent voters, low voter-participation groups, and disaffected Democrats
  • Recruit good, electable Republican candidates for partisan and nonpartisan election vacancies
  • Support and implement President Trump's America First doctrine
  • Support and defend D.O.G.E. efforts to reduce fraud and waste in the federal government
  • Demand transparency and fiscal responsibility from our elected and appointed city and county officials

and reject the divisive Recall attempt.

Montrose Republican Official Statement
Montrose County Central Committee Members unanimously voted to elect new and existing Executive Committee Members to represent our local Republican Party.

This volunteer team of Executive Members has been working together diligently to strengthen our local Republican Party and Community. We are grateful for their hours of  work coordinating and participating in events, walking neighborhoods, and reaching out to members of the community. Our new Executive Committee is propelling our local Republican Party forward while instilling trust, confidence and respect to our conservative foundation.

We're Official!

We're the only official Montrose Republican Party and are voting members of the Colorado State Republican Party. 


Montrose Republican Women is a completely separate entity that does not uphold the standards or values of the Montrose Republican Party. Censored members, like Don Coram and Ray Langston, are active participants within the women's group and they are also promoting the Recall of conservative Republican Scott Mijares. If Scott is recalled, the Democrats behind the Recall would be choosing his replacement. We do not support these efforts and regret the confusion this is causing within our community.
