My name is Shane Daly, and I’ve called Montrose home for nearly 30 years. As a longtime small business owner, coach, former Wyldlife leader, and one of the longest-serving board members with Black Canyon FCA, I’ve been blessed to serve this community in many ways. My greatest role, though, is being a father of five—ranging from 10 months to 20 years old (3 adopted, 2 biological). My children’s future is at the heart of virtually every decision I make, and I want to bring that same focus, dedication, and care to the youth of our community as a member of the school board.

Current school board member representing District A and a passionate advocate for students, parents, and educators in Montrose County. A Western Slope native, Neisha grew up in Craig, Colorado, and spent nearly two decades working as a nurse in the Denver Metro area. Six years ago, she and her husband chose to return to the Western Slope to raise their three children in Montrose—a decision rooted in their love for small-town values, strong community ties, and a desire to contribute meaningfully to the place they now proudly call home. With her background in healthcare and her deep commitment to family and service, Neisha brings a practical, action-oriented mindset to the school board. She believes that every child deserves a strong educational foundation, and that academic success, open communication, and staff support are essential pillars for a thriving school district. As a School Board member, Neisha is focused on three key priorities: 1. Academic Excellence: CMAS scores in the district are a growing concern. Neisha is committed to ensuring every student builds a strong foundation in reading, writing, and math—skills essential for lifelong success. 2. Parent Communication & Transparency: Neisha advocates for clear, concise communication with families. She is committed to promptly addressing concerns and keeping the community informed on curriculum, student progress, and board decisions. 3. Support for Teachers & Staff: Teachers and support staff are the heart of our schools. Neisha is committed to listening to their needs, ensuring they feel heard, appreciated, and supported, and carefully examining how financial resources are allocated to best support student learning. Neisha believes that what happens to our children happens to all of us, and that our district’s success begins with a shared commitment to doing what’s best for students. Meet Tiffany Vincent – Candidate for Montrose County School Board Hello, Montrose County! I’m Tiffany Vincent. I’ve been married for nearly 18 years to my wonderful husband, and together we have two sons — one in 8th grade at a district middle school and one in 1st grade attending a private school. We’re proud Colorado natives and have called Montrose home for the past seven years. I currently teach physical education at a local Catholic school. I earned my bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Colorado and am also certified in Early Childhood Development. Outside of work, I love spending time at the gym, hiking, running, and occasionally teaching line dancing to adults — a fun way to stay active and connect with the community! I’m running for a seat on the Montrose County School Board because I believe all families deserve greater choice in their children's education. Lack of options disproportionately affects our most vulnerable and disadvantaged students. I want to work toward increasing transparency for parents regarding their children's education, school records, and any services or advice provided during school hours. Above all, I am passionate about improving academic outcomes for all students. I believe our schools can do more to prepare the next generation for success — both in higher education and the workforce. Let’s build a stronger future for Montrose County, together.

Our story in Montrose began in 1988 when Marilyn and I and our young daughters moved to Spring Creek Mesa just west of Montrose. All our 4 daughters went through the school system here, graduated, went to college. and have gone on to live productive and great lives. With 4 kids in school we were always in close contact with the activities of the school. Having 40 years of sales and marketing experience in the international and domestic markets I have gained a great insight into business which has been instrumental in the success and operation of our Real Estate business .I have served on the Montrose County planning commission and the Region 10 revolving loan fund. Being involved with these programs has given me a great understanding of our community and allowed me to give back to this great community. Currently we are working hard to develop our ranch and our beef and pork products business.
